Book Alarm is built so the most private thing — the reason you read — stays with you. This page explains what we collect and what we don't.

What stays on your device

The free core works without an account. Your books, your reading progress and the reason you wrote are stored on your device. We do not need them on a server for the app to work.

Accounts and sync (optional)

If you choose cloud sync or a subscription, you create an account and your reading data is stored to sync across your devices. You can delete your account and data at any time.

Messages

To generate a message we may send the book title, your stated reason and recent reading signals to our message service. We do not use this content to advertise to you, and we never sell it.

No ads, no data sale

Book Alarm shows no ads and does not sell personal data. There is no "share to remove ads" bargain.
